One of my female ball pythons laid a clutch of eggs today. In the process of seperating her from them, some of the eggs rolled away from the rest of the clutch. I know that if eggs are rolled the wrong way, the developing embrio can suffocate. Do the eggs need to develop further before this becomes an issue, or is it imperative that they be "right side up," right now? If so, how can I be sure I have them positioned the right way? When I candle the eggs it appears that they have veins on one side and clear on the other. Should veins be on top? On bottom? Or does it not matter at this stage because it's too early in development and they will "right themselves?" Thanks for your help with this.
