leo outside

tamlin Jun 04, 2006 12:54 AM

i was wondering what your opinions were on keeping a leo outside? i live in tucson, arizona, so i'm wondering if it would be possible if i chose a good location and had a deep man-made burrow. it sounds like it could work to me. its hard to describe the plans i envision for it, i just need to know whether it would be alright to do in the first place.

Arizona weather would probably work well for Leos. As long as you insured there were places to get out of direct sun, heard it was 112 degrees in Pheonix yesterday, and rain.

You also have to worry about more parasites outside along with preditors and bugs with pesticides.
