First Clutch beginning to hatch

gretzkyrh4 Jun 04, 2006 10:24 AM

Of 21 eggs my female dropped in her first clutch, only 6 lasted (she unfortunately laid while I was out of the country for a week), but now those six are beginning to hatch.

My female is a large amel of unknown background that I purchased gravid in February. She had been bred to an anery again of unknown background.

Anyway, the eggs have now begun to hatch with 4 hatchlings out already. The first 2 were both anery, so apparently my female is het anery. The third came out amel so apparently the anery male she had been bred to was het for amel. And then came the fourth, a motley snow. So apparently both parents were het motley as well. The last 2 should hopefully begin hatching today, can't wait to see what they turn out as.
