Help w/ Gecko!!

geckoluver101 Jul 31, 2003 06:50 PM

This morning when i looked in my gecko cage i noticed that his poop had whole insects in it. They weren't digested. Is this a problem? What should i do? Katie

You should check your temps, and it might not be poop, your gecko might have threw up those insects.

Well now that you say that i began thinking.. I was taking them somewhere and the temps wre alot different. Could that have been the cause? Also it was in the shape of poop but had no white thing. Katie

Well the stress of the transportation of them could have caused it. Usually when they throw up the undigested insects look clumped together as if they passed through the gecko's system and out the other end but they also get clumped together when inside the stomach so that could be the reason why it was in the shape of "poop." Also, did you feed your leo's a lot? Normaly when leos are fed to much they throw up.
