This is one of my favorite locales of ater. Do you ever see the ones closer to Indio that look like these except have black reticulations on the white? I saw them around the Living Desert Museum. Thanks again! Tom

and unfortunately no, I've never had the opportunity to observe chucks or other herps in the vicinity of Indio. Definitely an area I need to check out in the near future...
