Kyle how are yours set up? I am using Sterlite 6qt containers that unfortunately do not have tight seals. My eggs have dented but are making a comeback. What type of container are you using.
Thanks,
Gary
Gary,
I use these boxes with a few air holes on the top and a few on each end. Let me know if you have any other questions.

>>Kyle how are yours set up? I am using Sterlite 6qt containers
I'm using a modified no-substrate method this year for both my colubrid and ball python eggs. So far it's working great.
My eggs are in Glad or Zip-loc storage containers that have about a half-inch of dry perlite on the bottom. The egg containers have several holes punched in the top for air/humidity flow. The egg containers are placed inside a sterilite container that has roughly 4 inches of perlite in it that is soaking wet - actually it has so much water that there is a bit of water seen just above the top of the perlite. The sterilites are placed in the incubator. I have a hygrometer in the egg container and the humidity has stayed the whole time at 96% yet the eggs stay dry.
I've been breeding herps for over 15 years and this is the first time I've used this system. And I am really happy with how it's working so far!
I'll ever use from here on out. For me, it removes all the worry from the incubation process. Glad it worked so well for you.
Do use just water in your no substrate method? Or do you just soak the verm or perl and use the egg crate spacers to keep the eggs of the verm.
Send me your set up if you wouldn't mind.
Thanks,
Gary
I am trying the low verm setup with the egg crate.
