ok sad first...Well most people have seen an airsoft gun, so my friends and i were out in a field getting ready to shoot each other when suddenly i hear one of my friends scream "SNAKE!!!" and i hear "pop pop pop pop" so knowing me i sprint over there and it was the freaking nicest looking king ever! I had reached down to pick it up and bam! before i knew it i had been bitten 3 times while trying to hold onto it. I held onto it for like 5 seconds before it slipped out of my hands and darted into the bushes. I was pretty mad at my friend. so now i have 7 holes in my hand.
ok the funny story...we live near a huge field (with no snakes) and it has a ton of gophers and mice so just recently my dad (the firefighter) been getting 911 calls saying that snakes are in peoples yards. most are gophers..1 ringneck. so my dad brought home a couple gopher snakes to let go in our yard and in the field. so my dog being the curious thing he is goes over so sniff the snake we just let go (it was a very mellow snake). my dad and i were watching and the snake all the sudden darts around and strikes at my dog! he ran away with his tale behind his butt and my dad and i were cracking up.
so now you know how my day went lol.
