So Cal Froggers beware of the Heat wave!

shopaholic Jun 05, 2006 02:55 AM

Its probably elementary to say beware during this changing weather. I've been doing Ok keeping the house on a permanent thermastat of 74F so that the tanks don't get above 84 F on the high end, but I went over to someone's house today that I know that has Leucs and he left without keeping his AC on. The house must have been about mid 90F. I ran over to the tank and it was also in the 90s. I checked the Leucs but they were fine, thank God. A couple of Summers ago I lost some baby Imitators during a sudden heat wave. Hope everyone keeps cool this week!

Tell me about it.

The temps get so high, then so low, then..... its crazy. As soon as I read your e-mail I ran to my Leucs and made sure temps are ok. The Leucs were busy hunting and just looked at me and since I wasent a Fruit Fly they turned to the important stuff. The temps are at 77 F. Im good to go.

Thanks for thr FYI
