out of all the acanthosaura which would you suggest for overaal, as a species, calm pesrsonalities?
overall best everything?
please post some pics too of the one you think best,please!
as im new to mhds and more used to bearded dragons and monitors and geckos any body know some good websites?

oh, i had an armata once and though beautiful, very very flighty, hope all arent like this!,LOL that was years ago though
i do remember one website with a name someting like frog something, may be i should read some back posts

I would say that the capra is usually the most calm but that isn't always guaranteed. Some capra are just as feisty and flighty as the armata. Most lepidogaster are also feisty but their bite isn't as strong as either capra or armata as they are much smaller. But then some lepidogaster are fairly calm, but they are the exception not the rule.

So, I would have to say that your best shot would be a capra. Even best would be a baby that you could handle frequently enough that it would get used to you so that it would not get flighty and would remain calm from the getgo.

I concur with Marcia. Capra are usually pretty chill to handle. But still bear in mind that each lizard is an individual, and being able to handle before buying is the best possible situation to ensure a good fit.
