quick growth question

Cairbre Jun 05, 2006 08:02 PM

With all the new (and very vibrant ) hatchlings around, I'm starting to wonder about how fast these guys really grow. Arella is starting to shed again (there's a hint of blue on her paler stomach and she's been hiding quite a bit). Her last shed was when I got her, a little over a month ago. Is this normal for them to be so close together, even if she is growing? After all, she was born just last July so she's still young. It's amazing to think that all the little guys that are being born around now will double in size by next year. It would be awesome to get to breed them one day and see it for myself. How big can I expect Arella to be by next year now that she's a foot and a few inches?

Danielle,

Shedding about once a month is normal, particularly when thay are young, feed well and are growing at a normal rate.

Depending upon how you feed your little girl, she could reach 24"-30" fairly easily if she has a hearty appetite.
