Tom Climbs

norristhenut Jun 05, 2006 08:55 PM

NOTE I uploaded these picture seven times but could't get them in right order JUST remember you are looking at them in reverse!

Well it's been about 10 months since Tom and Tina were attacked by a rat and they have recovered nicely. In fact Toms own rehab program was to start climbing fences. Here are a series of photos showing Toms attempts but don't quite work out. The fence is a construction grade matt that is used in the highway raod stablization. I set the fence 10 inches into the ground so they can't dig under, ol Tom says no problem He will just climb over the top. As you can see by the last photo he did'nt make it,I put wedges in the cornors so he can't get up any farther.
Just thought I'd share some of entertainment. Tina just wathes then goes back to his waterdish and sits.

Oh my gosh what a bratty turtle! LOL
I've told people I know who don't know box turtles that they can climb, a lot of them don't believe me but you have proof that it's true!
