Couple of monday PICs

Jeff Clark Jun 05, 2006 11:35 PM

First one is a 2005 male Het Hypo BRB I got from Celia and Sean. The orange on this snake is exceptionally nice.

This is one of my adult female Campina Grande Rainbows. She seems to be gravid.

These are a couple of typical 2004 BRBs that were born here.

This is Sunkist. He was born here and is one of my better breeder males.

This is a PIC of a very plain and in the blue 2003 male and the more brightly orange colored of my two females from the Gary Walsh 2002 litter.

More PICs of the orange 2002 Walsh female. She has been a picky eater her entire life. I may never get her big enough to breed. She is a little less than 5 feet and just over 2 pounds.

Here she is again with her less orange more plainly colored sister. Both of these snakes have really strange markings on the sides. The plainer colored female is gravid after having been bred by a couple normal males this season.

Couple more PICs of the gravid sister. She is not real big and so I do not expect more than 8 or so babies from her this year.

I am going to the mountains for the rest of the week. MacTavish the attack Scottish Terrier will be guarding the snake room. See you all next week.
Jeff

Excellent BRB's Jeff. I particularly like the 'typical' 2004 model with the clean markings. Some of the Walsh ones are really outstanding (ESPECIAllY the picky eater).
Thanks for sharing and have fun in the hills.

If Your MacTavish is anything like my Lizzie, one false pet and you'll get beat to death by the tail.

....are really taking on a whole new look. They are much prettier than the last pics I remember seeing of them.....or do you have a new camera?

Just kidding, they are turning out much nicer than I remember.....I have always thought they were really cool.

The Walsh's (especially that bright orange one) are my favorite. Are you planning on trying to prove out this trait? (Or have you already?)

Mike,
....The plainer colored one is gravid now and I will hold back a few from her litter to see what they produce. I have a slim hope because of the high number of strange looking animals in the one litter that Gary produced that this may be a co-dominant rather than simple recessive trait.
