OK so me and Snake were chillin' on my bed when I smelled this terrible smell. It was worse then my own poo when I eat red meat. I look over and snake craps out this white crap all over my expensive down comforter!! I could have whipped him around my head in circles. I thought that discharge only came out after he poo'd or if he is around water. Why the he@# did it come out when he was just slithering around my bed?!!

Brian, I'm sorry but I think it was u who answered my question with a dumb question.

These is not poop is it? Usually my poop is brown so I really don't see why this is a dumb question.
Maybe u not understanding my question is wherein the 'dumb' lies.
If you must know, I poo in the toliet, because that's where my mother told me to do it. How is your question relevant to the topic at hand?
Maybe next time you answer a question you should try to be nicer..and *hint* it doesn't help to answer a question with another one.

Now, If anyone can answer my question..I would appreciate it.
I didn't think so at first, but I guess it's kind of a technical question.

1.) Where does the white stuff come from? Is there a technical name for it?
2.) I read once that it come out after the poo, and I saw once that It comes out when around H2O (that's water, Brian).
3.)Never have I experienced it coming out while he was slithering around. Is a trigger for it?

These white discharges are called 'urates' - its the ball pythons form of urinating. When they pass urates has no bearing on weather or not they are around water, there's no trigger or anything ... he just had to go. Have you ever gotten like that? Really having to pee wherever you were? Snakes aren't housetrained - or housetrainable for that matter ... anyhow, I digress, there you are - your comfoter got peed on ... it happens

well my question why do you poop where you do is suppose to make you think well " i poop because i have to" as mrgimmick says these are not potty trained. What, do you expect it to know where it can and cannot poop? did you spank it? your snakes brain is the size of a pea. You didnt use logic before asking your question...that's why it was stupid. nothing personal ,Brian.

thanks for the info, there was a lot and I mean A LOT of fluid surrounding the little white ball. I think my snake urinates too, my entire comforter was soaked and my ball is just a baby no one warned me about this before I got him! I still love him though, egh my sheets still smell.
