Finally!

Millie had been pacing for about a week now, and after several false starts, she dug a nest last night and laid her eggs.

The fun part is that she laid 5 eggs this time...ever since we've had her she's only laid 4 at a time, so this is a new 'personal best' for her.

Egg laying season is official open here!

It can vary quite a bit, and depends on the turtle and other factors, like the weather, etc.
We have several females here (all rescues), some of which will reliably lay two clutches of eggs each year at intervals of anywhere from 2 weeks to a month between clutches. Others only lay once. Go figure.
