There is only one thing worse than...

There is only one thing worse than waiting for babies to be born. And that is the agony that it is, waiting for them to shed! When you get those new babies and just can't wait to see what they are going to look like, you have to wait and wait and wait. It seems that the last nine days for me has taken longer than the four months I waited to see if we would get any of these babies or not. Yea, almost as long as the six years since the first and original Pearlescent Boa made his appearance here in 2000. I didn't even know how they would turn out until I saw them late evening the Sunday before last and now... this waiting is killing me. I should get up tomorrow morning to a whole lot of brand spanking new eye-popping babies that have shed overnight. Perhaps a few will start to shed this evening if I am lucky... This is just killing me! I can't wait to see what these animals look like after that shed!:

Both drawers of babies from the same litter by the way. All are Hypos but only some are Pearlescent, or maybe Supers, and some are not. It's a beautiful thing.

They look beautiful! I never knew that there was so much variability in them. Are the other ones considered normal or how does that work?
