Orange Sunkist Boas Anyone??

HighEndHerpsInc Jun 06, 2006 07:31 PM

Here is an adult female Orange Sunkist redtail. I finally got around to taking some outside pictures now that it's been nice and warm. It's the only real way to capture the true colors in the boa color morphs.

Enjoy!

That is one beautiful boa! Never seen that much orange on any BCI. What are your plans with her? Very impressive normal, thanks for sharing 8)

Hi Jake,

She is one of 6 adult female breeders in this line that we have been working on for many years now. We have three distinct bloodlines. This female is a holdback from our own previous breedings in past years. We hold back between 3 and 5 females every year and have a number of females maturing to breed in future years.

Here is one of our 05 female holdbacks. She began getting her orange at about 8 months and is now one year old and about 3 feet.

WOW!! Your website is very nice 8) I didn't know there was a hybrid albino rock/burm till now. Congrats on producing the first! Again those sunkist boa's are really somthing special. Do you know if someone has used your sunkist line to breed into any morphs out there? Im sure that line would enhance the color's of salmon's or jungle's.
C ya,
