Lightning strikes twice at Sunset!!

amir1 Jun 06, 2006 09:04 PM

What better day than today to produce a second lucy variation here at Snakes at Sunset.
We are very happy to introduce the "Mocha" ball and the super Mocha AKA "Latte" Ball python.
The Mocha is a light tan and brown colored snake with a silver belly.
The Latte is a dark eyed lucy with a white pattern on a pink background.

....'Mocha' Ball Python line that Jared Horenstein has posted before?

I recall Jared's looked similair to a Mojave with the same highly faded sides as the rest of the 'het for unicolour' balls (lesser, mojave, phantom, YB, cinnamon, etc), so I wouldn't be surprised to find out it produces white snakes as well.

Big congrats to you, Amir! The subtle pattern of the Latte is a nice touch.
DO post pics of the Latte as it grows.

Yes.....its the same line as what I have posted in the past.....I brought the original in as a hatchling back in 99. I sold her to Amir back in 03 and he began this killer project. It is nice to see the fruits of your labor.......well........Amir's labor in this case......lol..........

The Mochas and Lattes are cool snakes.........no matter what ya call em.........they are simply awesome!!!

Here is a pic of my 05 Mocha

not getting any younger and at the rate these new ball pythons are cropping up how can I fit all of these projects in?!
I was thinking that if you did a crazy cross and got a lets say 1/164 would you know it was the 1/164 because the 1/64 that hatched next to it might look pretty strange too!!

white things going on ... I'd like to see more done with projects like the Spotnose, Clown, Coral Glow, Caramel Albino, Desert Ghost, Woma and I'd love to see you produce offspring from your Burgandy Albino.

These are all such beautiful animals,
and there's a lot more fun work to be done with them.

Congrats Amir on proving yet another white snake! I love the pink hue to the Lucy that is awesome. I can't wait to see what it looks like as it gets bigger. Now cross it with a Lesser or a Mojave and see what happens.
