Laying on the run

kingaz Jun 06, 2006 09:41 PM

I moved 1100 miles from Tucson, Az to Medford, Or last week. The snakes traveled in the car with me. Unfortunatly one female had her pre-lay shed about a week before I left. The drive took less than a day because I drove with about 3 hours of sleep! When I got to Oregon I checked on my gravid female and saw that she had laid one egg which was already dessicated. I quickly set up a lay box, popped her in it and 3 days later I had 9 apparently good eggs. They are a result of pairing one of Dan V's whites to one of Tim G's F1's. I saw what Dan got last year from a similar pairing. I hope I have as much luck.

LOL

Glad things turned out good with that female. I can't wait to see the hatchlings. Good luck with the move to Medford
