AHHHHHHH! Get this..... I'm the stupid owner!

Well it all hapened about a week ago, it was about 11:30 pm, and I was busy feeding all by nocturnal buddies. I came to my crested's cage, fed him, talked to him, gave him a neat little kiss on the nose then went to bed. Now keep in mind how late it was, and I had been in school all day and stuff. Well my alarm went off at 5:15 am as it usually does, and to my horror, the cage top was on the floor! CRAP! STUPID ME! I fed every body, talked to them all, but when it came to my only aborial gecko, the D@M# top was off. I searched the house franticly for like 2 days. I can't fimd him. now almost a week later I still can't find him. I get out every night when its nice and dark and search the walls of my house. And guess what..... thus far I still can't find him. Hes not a chunky guy but hes lean, but not skinny. I don't know if hes been getting water from the bathreeom or kitchen, or if he can even make a meal outta the small spiders runnin' around. So heres my question.... any suggestions. Has this happened to anyone? PLEASE, if you can think of anything, please say so. I don't care if its stupid or not, I'm desperate. Thaks all in advance.

Well once i left the top off my crested cage and both of my BABY cresties escaped. Luckily for me i found them both and the fact that my room was hardcore messy helped because other wise they would have climbed into the vents for shelter. I eventually found one underneathe my T-shirt on the ground and another underneathe a piece of paper. As for advice, look in dark places, places where you think it is nice and cozy for a crestie (i know i know its a bit vague). Now its just mroe luck. Keep animals on watch such as cats, actually especially cats. My friend was once showing me his baby crestie when it jumped on to his shoulder then jumped again..... into the cats mouth.

i hope u find the crestie soon

good luck

Okay here are a few things that you can do. First make sure he is contained with in your room. That means keep the door shut at all times and block its bottom with a towel. You can also leave out small dishes of fruit and check it daily for any signs of licking. Check around for any stools so you can get an idea where he has been. Also check all warm areas, like behind a computer monitor or TV. Keep trying and don’t give up. Best of Luck.

Try looking under the stereo... worked for me...
And make sure you isolate, that was my other saving grace.
