What kind of tortoise is this?

brit59brat Jun 07, 2006 01:58 AM

I just adopted this tortoise from a neighbor of a friend of a friend. I've only dealt with snakes and lizards thus far. Turtles and tortoises are new to me. Can someone please tell me what kind this is? I would like to know so I can take care of them properly. Also, any links to websites or anything to push me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can't tell from the pic, and I don't think I'm familiar with this species anyways.
I can however direct you to www.chelonia.org

I think it may be a greek tortoise. Look at some pictures of that species and see what you think.
