My patience wears very thin...

Nannar, the elder of my two girls who just shed, still will not eat. I have tried everything you guys have said, I've used Jump Start, nothing works. I put the mealworms in a shallow see through dish, she ignores them, all she does is wander the tank looking for the dang humid hide when its out, and if I leave it in she doesn't come out. I'm lost for what to do now, I've just about got my other tank set up right, with a nice steady temp and new setup and I think I am just going to put her in there, let the timers do their work on the lights, the temp sit at the constant 89 degrees, and just ignore her for about 2 weeks, then try to feed her. I dont know what else to do..

Don't do that! Have you tried baby food on her nose? Katie

You could do that, but dont do it for 2 weeks. I would only leave her alone for a couple of days, a week at most. Then try to feed her. Also, try to keep her cage dark, so she will be more comfortable coming out.

You need to have lots of patience! Try this - remove some of the 'furniture, including the humid hide. Take a mealie that is active and drop it in front of the leo. Mine still eat much better if I drop the prey insect in front of them - yes, they are spoiled! Usually, leos respond to the movement of their prey/food. In time, your leo will take the food right out of your hand. Hang in there - it will work for sure... RR

Proof of the above feeding method - fat gecko! RR

put her in a deli cup with two or three mealworms and then place the cup on the warm side of the tank and leave her overnight in there (make sure she can't climb out). i have been doing this for my two hatchlings who weren't eating and it has worked great. good luck!!!

I just bought my scale tonight, so I'll know more about this in the next couple of days.
