Rubbing and Posting Pics

Jarkko Jun 07, 2006 12:39 PM

If a Chondro has rub marks on it's face, will the scales grow back with shedding? How do you get this to stop and is it only related with screens (as opposed to plastics, acrylic, glass, etc.)?

Also, how do you post pics on here? I'm mediocre with internet knowledge.

Thanks

You can see rub marks on this chondro. I have an all acrylic enclosure with a solid top... It just happens. I've had it happen to neonates in tubs as well.. They will grow back, in time.

As for positn. You can link a Image URL in when you post, theres a field for it or you can use HTML. You'll also need to get a photo hosting / ftp site.

Wow, that is a gorgeous Chondro Julian.

So I basically have to have a website to post a pic?

You forgot the pictures Julian! You can put your pictures on Kingsnake. It has a hosting area for photos that you can click on and then upload your pictures from your own files after resizing to their specifications (can't remember what they are right now). Just click on the photo gallery link at the top of this page. As Julian suggested, you can put your pictures full-sized on a hosting site such as photobucket.com or picturetrail.com and post from there by copying the properties between the two urls like this:

1.4~Aztec Okeetee corns~Coatl,Maya,Acatl,Tepin,Minuet
0.1.1~Green tree python~Tempest, Whisper

The url that you use is: the bracket(lower not upper)with IMG in between the two [ ] like that but with IMG in between. Then the properties of the photo are pasted in between that. Then you put [/IMG] to end it. That will allow your pictures to post.Had to show the symbols seperately or it thinks I'm trying to post a photo and just shows that box with the x in it.

Check out Imageshack on the web and you should be able to figure out how to post pics. Browse through your pics and upload them on that or a similar pic hosting site and you can get the codes from there and post on forum boards.
