HOw can i keep my leo from jumping off my hand when i hold him. He is okay when i pick him up most of the time but starts to wiggle free and tries to jump down after a second. Could it be that i havent been holding him long enough and he needs time to get used to being held or what? Please give me some tips, Thanks

hey
how old is it? if it is still young thats just what babies do. in general they have no sense of height so they wonder anywhere lol. If it is still young you should let s/he be for a bit then they'll come down. my hatchlings are always jumpy and with time they come down.

Yea if its young its just how they are! Gotta stay movin if your not hideing so you dont get eateen I am sure is there frame of mind! Once it gets more used to you and it gets a lil older you will notice a huge decrease in that type of activity!
While your holding him in one hand cup your other hand up and over his head (so your two hands make lke a lil hide) to make him feel a little more secure and that just might help out with him getting used to being held and he will feel safe and not want to take off plus it prevents him from going forward!
