What the problem with albino x albino in any snake was the fact of major inbreeding to get as many albino's as possible in the quickest time. This was a problem with burms and boas and some balls. With burms in the early days it wasn't uncommon for breeders to have those one-eyed albino's (i've seen probably 20 or more in various collections) and with boas you would get alot of kinked and premature babies being born. With ball's kinked babies and extremely poor feeders (even for ball pythons) were the problems. Since there has been a better understanding of what is needed to have a successful breeding opperation, many of these deformities have been limited and only show up on rare occasions or with the rare clutch. The key to preventing these problems is out-breeding which is why the ball python morphs don't have too many problems due to the thousands and thousands of wild blood bp's imported each year. My collection of balls specifically is 80% wild blood or 1 generation from wild, now that is what is needed to provide quality animals no matter what the species is.
