my baby wd (16inces) hates his lites. he wont bask at all, all he does is sit in his water bowl or hide in his hiding spot. whats up with him im scared. i dont have any money to take him to the vet. what do i do.

Is there anything scary in the room???
(like birds, windows that birds can be seen through, loud noises, excessive movement, cats, ext)
What are the tempertures in the tank? In the water? Basking areas? tempeture ranges? What about night time... what are the temps then, and what do you use for night time heat sources.
Do you have pictures?
What do the stools look like?

the temps are 84 degesse and the basking spot is 90 degese. at nite the temps are 75 degrese.im using a uth at nite. his stools are normal. i dont have any birds or anything cuz i keep my blinds down.
