To my surprise.........eggs

roadspawn Jun 08, 2006 12:39 AM

I got a female beccarii two weeks ago. On Sunday and yesterday, she regurgetated her meal. At least that is what I thought it was. It turns out after closer inspection she laid two eggs. The thought of her laying eggs never crossed my mind. I thought she was sick.....What a dumb-ass I am......
The eggs are no good. One was dropped into the water basin and stayed there for at least a day. The other I flushed down the toilet without even looking closely at it. The one I flushed, from what I remembered was fuller. She must have just laid it. Oh well, see what happens in the next few days.....

To find in his argus cage, they were already eaten, then crapped out, Thats what that one looks like, it passed through a digestive system, then was crapped out in the water.

My recomendation is, dig up your cage, look everywhere completely. Becs, normally lay four or five eggs. She may have buried some and ate some.

They often lay and bury the good eggs and consume any dead eggs.

By the way, your comment about her being sick is funny, Thats what I tell my wife about females Lacies when they are gravid. I say, well, shes either sick or gravid. hahahahahahahahaha, because they act sick. Cheers and welcome to the world of, things aren't what you think they are.
