I love photographing treefrogs. It isn't that I have any particular passion for treefrogs, it is just that they are so darn photogenic!
Example:
You are on a trip through Florida. The guy you are with picks up a few Golden Treefrogs (Polypedates leucomystax) at a local wholesaler because he wants to try and breed them. So when you get back to your hotel room, you grab a cut piece of branch from the woodpile out back, set it on the table, unfold a piece of black cloth for a background, and voilá - instant photo perfection!


Who says you need to max out depth of field on herp photos? As long as the eyes are in focus, everything works -
