Jaguar.......gotta love this girl!

ajfreptiles Jun 08, 2006 10:01 AM

Just thought I would share some pics of this girl! She is getting huge! She is an 04' model...but still in style!

What do you think of the Jags?

Hope you like, Andy Federico

What are teh defining characteristics of the Jaguar? Duh, the reverse stripe tail, but is there anything else? Also, is this "somebodies" line?

I just got this girl in along with two other stripes, she looks a lot like your jag.....?????

Dave, those are some real beauties you have there!!! As for the Jaguars...They are a line of boas produced by Frank Martin... He has been working with them for a number of years...he would be the one to contact about more info on them...what little I know is that the gene works like a Jungle...in that it produces these Jag offspring in the first breeding...and then there is also a super form.

Hope this helps....I can say they are super high colored as well!!! They are gorgeous to behold! Take care Andy Federico

How about some pics of some supers. Those are def sweet. I like how the reverse stripe goes from saddle to saddle. I think there is a petstore here that has one that I think might be a Jag but it is all eaten up with various health problems. Only has a 40% chance of making it after a visit to the vet.

Great looking animal. Curious as how you know its a super? Is the appearance that extreme compared to the het form?

Boas make the world go round.

I was going to ask the same thing.....

I thought in order to be a super it must be proven.....

Frank, have you already raised up a "super Jaguar" and bred it to a normal nonrelated animal?

Very nice snake. I really like the pattern and the color they put on as they get older....

Cant wait until you breed that "super Jaguar"....Ill start saving now!!
