Red Eye - White Spots

gazemm Jun 08, 2006 10:34 AM

I have notice a few white spots appearing on the back of my Red Eye recently.

Could anyone tell me what these are, what the cause is and also if there is a way to get rid of them??

I was told it could possibly be down to how clean the tank is but i clean the sides most days and clean it out completely once a month...is this not regular enough??

Thanks. (Pic attached...you can JUST about make them out)

Hello, those white spots are completely normal
Some RETF's have them, some don't and sometimes they show up when the RETF matures. Nothing to worry about
Hope that helps
Steve
