I was sold this female as an albino het for snow . Father was a snow , mother was a het for albino. Id like to know from you guys if you think there is something going on with this animal . All sides are white with no pattern at all. Just white. She almost looks transeparent at times. She also has most of her head and down 3 to 4 inches down her neck. and large patches of just solid white in a couple other places on her body . I know it might be nothing but i just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks , Koky

Figure any area that shows as pure white on an albino would be black on a normal.. Definitly somthing to look forward too. She looks a bit fiesty...LOL...

she is unique for sure! Its like she is a paradox albino/snow??? Who produced her? Also it is interesting that you mentioned her father was a snow. I have seen a anery whos mother was a snow and gradually had hundreds of white spots appear on her back as she matured. It will be interesting to see what she looks like in a few years. Thanks for posting Greg

Good luck with her. It's always the unique or beautiful ones that are the most nasty. She may be worth keeping even with the attitude. Of course, she may eat any male you put in her cage.

looking! Was she the only one in the litter that turned out like that? I'm curious if any of the other Albinos or Normals het. Albino in the litter display anything similar? I have seen some pretty pale "snow" looking Albinos but none with patches of white that go up the side and on the neck like that. Crazy!

Thanks for sharing,
Celia

Paradox Snow!!! But then again, I'm a complete novice! I don't know how much you paid, but if it was under 50K you got a great deal!

Good luck!

I have seen a few boas every now and then in photos, of people owning or selling boas with a white patch. Now sometimes these are injury areas, but not always. Some have sworn that the white spot doesn't change throughout the lives of their snake. I have always hoped that a pied project could come of these type of boas one day.

I am not saying there are pied boas, but I think maybe the potential for pied boas is there somewhere. Might be with your snake, might not. I sure hope so. Perhaps one of the ball python folks who are more familiar with pieds, might comment on this possibility, and this snake.

What an awesome animal Koky, congats on that one, man! Regardless it is an awesome boa!

Beautiful snake.

As to her color..... Well, it sort of looks like she might have had color at one time. It looks like it's been coming off. Did she ever have color in those places as a baby? Do her scales in the faded areas look normal?

Anyway I know a week or so ago someone posted a picture of a boa. It's color was coming off!! It happened in one shed. She had patchy spots all over her body.
