? ... Skeletal Development in Epicrates

Sunshine Jun 08, 2006 06:18 PM

Hello Everyone!

Can anyone tell me at which point a likely gravid female could me radigraphed to count babies? I prefer to be able to count skeletons rather than fluid filled blobs.

Thanks,
Linda

Talk to your vet. He/she should be able to tell you when's a good time to do it.

BTW I think it would be around....... 4 to 5 weeks before she's due to give birth.

Thanks,
I wish my vet/boss could answer this but since he has no exotic experience I didn't even offer the question to him. He wouldn't help anyway....I'm the gal who finds out this sort of thing. Thought I'd look for someone who knew before cracking open all the books and I could experiment (I'm 100 % sure I can take the x-ray with proper exposure the first try)just not willing to subject my snake to it without knowing if the timing is right.
