loving leos is great, but you know you are going overboard when you would rather spend the majority of your time with your leos than with your friends!!! lol...as much as i love my little geckos, i don't think time spent with them can compare with the times that i am with my best friends....

Well sometimes your leos can be the friends your other friends can't be. I didn't mean spend more time with leos than friends. Sorry if i made it sound that way. I love my friends but still love my leos. Katie
PS, My friends don't like herps and they don't understand why I spend money taking care of them.

lol....my friends were afraid of my leos until i MADE them hold them...now they love em!!!

I tried to get my girlfriend to hold one, and it bit her...lol. She kinda was a little rough though, I dont let her hold them anymore. She likes to look at them though...lol.

At first i was not attracted to leos, until a friend of mine bought one and i held her and that was that!! from that moment on i was addicted!! i now own 1.3 super hypo carrot tails, 1.1 fat hi-yellows, 0.1 blizzard, 0.3 tremper albinos, and just yesterday i recieved a male tremper yellow phase albino!! straight from ron tremper!! i am so happy with my leos! all my friends ask me why do i spend so much on leos, they dont understand!!! i really love my leos!!!!

awwww, your not a loser if you take interest in your pets!!! just make sure you don't take too much more interest in your reptiles than your friends, friends are just as important!!!
my friends actually think my leos are cute and like to hold or pet them.

Your lucky to have friends that think your leos are cool. Personally, being that i'm 26 most of the people i would normally hang out with are still into the drinking/bar scene. I had my fill of that at university......actually became quite a drinker, just short of an alcoholic. I still drink now and then but my life doesn't revolve around it nor do i like hanging out at the bar. For some odd reason most people i know (and i call very few of them *friends*) do so for me, home & work is my life. At least at home i have my dog & geckos. One person who i do call friend likes lizards too. She really cool and is a blast to take into a reptile store. Most people i know hate reptiles and are quick to point out how weird i am for having them. Yes i live in a very close minded area LOL. Oh well, hopefully i'll be able to meet some great people at the september show
