Pretty interesting! Chris Anderson links to that particular site often during discussions re: the necessity of UVB. Kind of verifies/suppports the importance of UVB in hatchlings and gravid females. I think maybe you could draw the conclusion that it becomes less important as various reptiles age, but since their skin is basically "shielding" them from any excess, providing it to them is not harmful. Another good study to provide to the masses who still feel UVB is unnecessary. As always, the "K" is there to find another killer link. TY! Diane
