A couple of questions

LinsZoo Jul 31, 2003 10:08 PM

Most of you know Marleys history. This question is in regards to his being stunted. Will Marley ever 'beef up' like the big iguanas or will he remain looking like a juvenile?

Second question is to the markings on his head. They used to be gray and now they are closer to black. Is this anything to be concerned about? Or normal now that he has his lights, suppliments and a decent diet.

Third question, since Marley does not have use of his back legs he has worn down his femoral plugs. They serve no purpose other than breeding right?

Thanks in advance!!

That really depends on the iguana. My Ash never really beefed up and when he passed on this winter at 6.5 years of my age, he was total SVL 5 inchs.

Could very well be his natural coloring coming out. Give him a while and watch them to make sure they dont turn into anything, but more than likely nothing to worry about!
