i just caught a 3ft female. shes quite the musker but shes pretty calm now. i have her in a 10 gallon. is that too small?
She has a hiding rock, a water dish and i have aspen shavings for bedding. should i feed her large tadpoles? will that work? because where i caught her i know they eat frogs and salamanders. i go to school in the fall and we arnt allowed to have pets so im going to let her go in a couple months. Is it possible this time of year that she could already be gravid? thanks

I also caught a eastern garter about 2 months ago and he/she is about 2 feet in a 29 gallon, I can not imagine a 3 footer in a 10 gallon, my 22" snow corn lives in a 10 gallon and IMO he needs a bigger tank, so I think you shoud get like a 29 gallon or a 40 gallon wide
