Crocodilian Laws?

CobraKing Jun 09, 2006 07:37 PM

I've been doing a lot of research into the keeping of crocodilians in captivity, and I was wondering what is a good place to find state laws on the keeping of crocodilians in captivity.
I'm not going to get one for a while but I was interested in finding a website with local laws. Thanks for any help!

Oh yeah, that would be good to know wouldn't it! SC right now, but I might be moving to Florida.

What about other species such as P. palpebrosus?

I believe you can keep all other species. You can call Wildlife & Marine Resources Dept. to be sure.

Heck c'mon up to Michigan. The states does not have laws concerning non-native species. Each community sets their own ordinances concerning exotic wildlife. I had to get an ordinance set in place so that I could open our rescue/santuary.
