slugs-live-anything at all?????

NUCCIZ_BOAS Jun 10, 2006 11:40 AM

This is my argentine female. she's currently gravid by a male albino. The pair was locked up from november through mid-january, when the female ovulated. Her last swelling was sometime in the last week of january, then she went back to normal size, and slowly began getting fat again. She never had a shed, so I am clueless as to a due date, but I think it should've happened already.

You can see in the pic below, she has golf-ball sized lumps on the inside of her belly, is this normal, or should I expect slugs? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
sorry for the bad pic, it was taken through a plexi-glass window, didn't want to disturb her.

It's normal. My large gravid Peruvian belly's shape is continually changing and often looks lumpy. Mark

In my experience and a few fellow breeders experience, lumps are a good thing...all my females that have had really good litters have been lumpy within the last month or so of being Gravid...If i were you I wouldnt worry to much...I would be Happy...
