? about shows

The more i think about it the more i get excited about the show in September. I've never been to one so I do have a few questions, especially for those who have been to the Toronto Expo
If you buy a gecko how do you carry it around? They usually have it in a dixie cup or something like that right? Do they have baskets or buggies in case you buy a few?
What is the best way for me to transport them home? Its about a 2 hour drive (give or take). Should i buy a large container and have a heat pad?
Any other advice and input would be great
Thanks in advance

Firs time at the toronto espo eh? i can still memba my first expo i was so excited! lol.

You can ask them to hold on to it and when you're about to leave just pick it up from them so that your gecko doesn't get to stressed.

They have them in all sorts of differen't containers.

Do they have baskets or buggies in case you buy a few?
Unfortunately they do not, so if you are planning on buying a few animals have fun carring all the lil containers they're in, lol.

What is the best way for me to transport them home?
Keep them in a dark box that does not get to cold or to hot.

hope this helps

Thankyou that helps alot Yes it'll be my first time going.
Its a shame about the buggy thing, but oh well LOL. I dont' even know if i will buy anything there. I'm just excited about going in the first place. I look forward to meeting other herp fans more than anything actually. I said in a post further down that theres few people in my area that like herps. More often then not i get the *talks* about how weird i am etc. Its depressing sometimes.

Thanks again for your input

well maybe you ARE weird, and you ALSO like herps... maybe it's not BECAUSE you like herps.... ever consider that one? Just thought I'd give you somehting to think over. Have fun with it!

P.S. I'm not really an asshole... I just play one on M.B.s

P.P.S Have a blast at the show, they're TONS of fun... but be sure to bring a LIMITED amount of money, and NO credit cards.... once you get engulfed in all that, it can be VERY easy to go buck-wild.... *sigh* I know from experience.....

Good advice

I plan on saving up some money and having a specific amount to spend. I don't have a credit card.....learned that mistake while at university. They should have learned never to give a struggling student one LMAO. I can only buy 4 geckos anyways. I want to save my 20 gallon tanks for any babies i get in the far future. One blizzard male and 3 females of differing morphs. Hopefully anyways. We'll see

I'll be the first to admit that i'm anything but normal LOL Wierd just doesn't cut it though. It doesn't give enough details to really describe me cause everyone is *weird* in their own way. Ive been called excitable, easily entertained, and funny. One part of me is content to just sit and watch my geckos going about their daily activities, while the other part of me would love to go hike the Bruce Trail again, free hand rock climb and swim across a lake Lately though i've been in the *watch the geckos* mode. Like Cleo said before, there should be a balance (i'm sure it was her who said it). Weird has a different meaning to each person.....i'm *weird* for liking herps (and most likely a thousand other reasons) but i find those who love spiders a little off the wall LOL.
Its all interpretation.
By the way.......whats MBs?
