green urates? is this a problem?

blueharlequin Jun 10, 2006 03:35 PM

Hello folks.
I've got a Honduran female who's urates have recently turned a noticable shade of green. I've never seen this before in any of my Hondurans. Is this something to be worried about?
She's not exactly a prize specimen to begin with, as she's never been a heary eater... and is much smaller than any of my other hondos of comparable age.
Anyway, green urates. Should I be concerned?

I would take her to the vet. My florida had green stool and after taking her to the vet today I found out she was loaded with protazoa(sp?) The vet gave her some medication then told me she should be fine in a couple of days. Good luck.
