My thermostat on my rack system just went kaput I just ordered another one that will be here monday so what should I do till then leave it on and hope it doesnt get to hot or just turn the heat tape off?

I would leave the heater off. It's the middle of summer and unless you keep your air conditioner in your house on so it's frigid, your leo shouldn't have a problem.
