breeding sizes

I've have quite a few honduran milksnakes. .3 100% het albinos, .1 possible het albino, 1. white phase albino, and .1 butter phase albino. I was wondering what size they need to be in order to breed. I've heard conflicting stories.

Also, I have .1 anery honduran milksnake. I would like to try for snows.

I have four clutches of Thayerai eggs incubating right now.

Also, I just acquired a .1 andean milksnake. What size does she need to be to breed. I'm looking for a male right now for her.

Thanks,

Josh

Is the Anery Hondo Het for Amel? Because if it isnt then you will produce all normal offspring that will be Double het for Snow. As for breeding sizes, I would wait until the females reached 4' to be on the safe side(IMO).I know theres breeders out there who produce healthy offspring from hondos under 4' but remember that there is always a risk of running into egg retention if the snake is not breed at a proper size.

at around 400 grams for the females, males a little lighter. You could do 350 grams but like the previous post said there is a chance for egg retention or improper follicle development. Personally, I believe body weight to be the most important factor when getting viable clutches.

hoped that helped
