Tonight she snarfed 8 small f/t pink mice before indicating that she was full. This species is known to be aggressive, and she's had a couple of full-hiss displays, but I think she's beginning to realize that I want to feed her, and not eat her(LOL).

There are several sub-species of those. I think the one you have turns an orangish color with black speckling thoughout. Neat snakes. Keep us posted with updated pics.

for your words and information. Already she has a
salmon-ish "tinge" to her tan base color. She will most likely have a black head as well. I certainly will post pics of her as she goes through her ontogenetic changes.
Observing the progress of my 1.3 e. climacophora has been fascinating. I guess that I have a liking for drab baby snakes who grow into colorful adults. A Mexican Pine or two are also on my "maybe someday" list in this category.
