I have a pair of Amazons from 04 that have always been housed together. The male is the red and orange below and the female is the yellow. The female is between 4-4.5 feet and the male is around 3.5-4 feet. The female is taking f/t small rats and the male f/t adult mice. They have not had any real temp fluctuation and have had a steady light cycle. Also no heavy spraying at all.

Now the question. The female seems gravid to me but she seems way to small to have cycled. So is it possible or has it happened that smaller females in this size range have become pregnant?? I have experience with kings milks and rat snakes as well as large terrestrial boas like the common boa and Dumerils boas so I think I know what a gravid snake looks like but I never expected it from a pair this small.

Thanks Jason
