Anyone know where the albinos are?

ericR Jun 11, 2006 01:48 AM

Hi

I have been looking at albino red eared sliders for a couple years now and have decided that I would like to work with them. Are the albinos weaker then regular silders? I never see groups of sub-adults or adults for sale and I would expect many people to have babies for sale by now. Are many of them sterile? Any tips on albinos would be nice and if you know of people with eggs/babies, please let me know.

thanks for your time, ericR

albino redears are a little more work then normal redears as babys but once you get the babys eating well there is really no difference. the reason you dont see many adults or subadults for sale is because there is still really good money in breeding them. people who buy them and spend the years it takes to get them to breeding size dont often sell their adults check the classifieds baby albinos should be popping up in the next month or so.
