I'm thinking about buying Greg Maxwell's new chondro book but I don't keep any. I only have ATB's. Would it be a good reference for both types?

Having kept both i would say they are some what similar. Though atb's are much more forgiving to error then chondros. I would reccomend talking to "John Hedger" or "orthopode" as they keep a colony of both. You can find them both on the tree boa forum. or lurking around here.
I Julian,
I think you got me confused with somebody else...I don't have any ATB...never have never will...you know something about their ugly heads...
Orthopode
LOL, sorry to slap that bad title on you, bro! I'll keep that dirty A-word far away from your screen name
.
JG

Ugly heads???
Lets not go in to those south american long noses you have LOL
???
!
Amazon Tree Boas and Green Tree Pythons are two very different animals from different continents. While their care may be similar, do you really think that it's going to be identical?
You should probably do your own research, rather than getting all huffy when people don't want to type 16 paragraphs to explain how they differ and how they're the same.
