i was wondering what kind of small snakes are in the hobby that could be kept in enclosures that are 12"x12"x18". i know it's a small tank, about 10 gallons, so that's why i'm looking for suggestions. thanks.

i believe theres a forum on this site for small terrestrial snakes. you might find more answers there.
off the top of my head, southern ringnecks are a common small snake in the pet trade.
thanks. i posted this thread over there. i've seen ring neck snakes. only think i wouldn't care for is as a pet it would want to hide under objects most of the time and it would look like an empty cage.
you might look into dekays brown snake, there about a foot at adult age and they eat worms right out of your hand and are a blast to play around with. the easy part is you might even be able to find them in ur backyard cuz ive caught 2 in the past month and i dont even have that big of a yard

i have one Brooks Kingsnake, hopefully breeding in the next couple of years! yaaahhhh, only if i can find a male though lol, but im still looking for a male lol
Another small, tame snake is the rubber boa.
Have you considered a Western Hognose? They are personable, easy to handle, and the males stay smaller. I keep mine in a 10g and he is doing fine.
