Wheezing

Just_Ders Jun 11, 2006 02:31 PM

When some of my BPs are frightened and "jump back" they make a wheezing sound when the air gets ejected from them. Is this normal or is it something I should worry about. They arent wheezing when they're beathing normally, so I don't think it is serious, but I dont want to wait until it is serious to find out. Should I take them to a vet? raise the temps more? make it more humid? less humid?

This is normal. It would be the same as if you fell over. The air would be pushed out of your lungs because the lungs are compressed. This could cause a wheezing sound.
