i got a question about my brooks king...she likes to dig around in the bark alot and does somtimes rub against the cage though it looks like shes just exploring and having fun. the problem is that her nose is getting dark and it looks like all the rubbing might not be so good and im hoping maybe shell shed all this off bc its been like that for just a week or so. i once read this was a problem and i think it might be now but im not sure if there is anything to do. i just changed out the bark so everything is clean and shes in a 20 gallon tank and about 34 inches...can anybody let me know if somthing is wrong?

I doubt it is a problem. If the scales are damaged and/or skin is showing, a mild antibiotic ointment will be fine as long as you don't get it in his nostrils. Betadine works too.

I was given one snake with a very swollen rostral area with the scale rubbed off and raw. A few applications of ointment and a few sheds later he looked just fine.

Also, you might try another bedding. Bark is rather abrasive, and in captivity in a cage the size you describe, the snake will rub at some times. Try Sani-Chip or aspen or clean, dry pine shavings or bed-a-beast or ...
