Hatching question

When the egg caves in, the baby is supposed to emerge within 24 hours, right? If it doesn't, does that mean that it is stillborn?

When the egg caves in, you should see some form of movement when the gecko inhales also you should be able to see the snout of the gecko poking out of the egg. If nothing emerges from the egg after a long period of time and there is no movement it is a gewd chance that it is a still born.
