I'm still Alive and Kicking

dvl Jun 11, 2006 07:33 PM

Been busy as a cat with the trots lately------ Lizard Pen is doing fine. I HOPE to get a clutch of Redtail eggs soon--maybe this is my lucky year !! All of my Desert Iguanas are guys-- so tension is visible on the flats! I only have 3 mutt chucks left------- John--- better get em while they're hot!

Here is the dominate DI--- he rushes me & does push ups most every time I get in the pen!!

This time he just gave a go somewhere look!

I wish I could say the same for my lizard pen. I'll give you a call some time and give you an update on my new job and stuff. I've been pretty busy. The chucks are doing well.

John

Red Tails Huh? I always knew that you would go high class on me. LOL. Good to hear from you. The Harrisburg NC chapter of DVL chucks are doing well. The second (or third?)generation that were red tail mutts turned out to more red back in nature. Mine closely resemble John E's critters.

Give me a holler if those remaining mutts start bringing down the new high class pen's property value. LOL!

I think it's time you and I get some new snapshots of our dvl Mutts. I think they will bring high dollar when the pictures start circulating the web LOL. I would like to see how yours are looking, and I really need to update David with pictures of my guy. Mine are inside now, as I sold my house with the lizard pen. When I find time I will build a new one. It may have to be smaller in size though, because we have a lot of hawks and raccoons, and more importantly CATS around my new house. I was something large enough for to enjoy themselves and small enough that I can provide a nice adequte lid to keep them safe. I had no lid at all most of the time at my old house.
